Shelly Ward-Lindsay is a contemporary UK artist who has long held an interest in all things creative. Greatly inspired by colour she believes colour can evoke different emotions and transform moods which she finds fascinating.

Shelly’s love of colour is a prominent essence that permeates her work.  Specialising in abstract painting she utilises colour in the form of resin and acrylic through the medium of glass and canvas. Each artwork is composed through a meditative process and is a practice undertaken before medium meets material and made with the conscious intention to instil within the observer a moment of calm in an increasingly busy world. Creation is a fully immersive experience for Shelly whose main motivation is to use her art as a form of escapism and as a therapeutic tool.
